Are you a budding graphic designer? Are you handy with a pencil? Or maybe you’re an Illustrator or Photoshop pro?

If so, the Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) needs your help to design a new children’s rights logo.

There are prizes to be won – the winning design will be made into a professional logo by a design agency and you will receive a £100 gift voucher. The winner will also get to stay overnight in London as well as meet the Children's Commissioner for England, Maggie Atkinson.

But best of all, the winning logo will be used by organisations around the UK to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the UK Government ratifying the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Competition details

The logo design must communicate the importance of children's rights and celebrate the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). It can be designed by hand or by computer, it must be original work and it should be drawn or printed on plain paper.

To enter the competition you must be 17 or under and live in England. You can enter as a team of up to four members.

The competition kicks off The Right Year for Children, which celebrates 20 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in the UK.

In December 1991, the UK Government signed the CR and made a commitment to realise children's rights in the UK.

The Right Year for Children is a year of action, beginning in November, to celebrate the anniversary and to seek greater rights protection for children and young people in England.
