Do you want to connect with other people in your area and call for action on climate change?
On 5-6 November, people from across the UK will come together to lobby their MPs on climate change in the Big Climate Connection.
With the UK Energy Bill and the UN climate talks in Mexico fast approaching, November is a key time for politics.
In this mass lobby, people from all walks of life will ask their MPs to write to Prime Minister David Cameron and Secretary of State Chris Huhne to make sure progress is made on tackling climate change.
Schools can get involved too - you can:
- Go to a lobby meeting in your local area
- Invite your MP to a special lobby meeting in school
- Send something that expresses your views on the issue (this could anything from a poster or a presentation to a poem!) to your local lobby meeting
To take part, you'll need to ask your teacher to register.
Download the Climate Connection toolkit and show it to your teacher, or find out more on the
Climate Connection website.
