Advise the Government on climate change

Do you ever wish the Government would pay more attention to young people on issues that affect your future?

Here's your chance to have your say! The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) are looking for a new member for their Youth Advisory Panel.

The Panel is a group of young people who advise the government on climate change, representing the views of young people all over the UK.

The Panel is made up of young people aged 15-25, and meets in Whitehall, London once a month. Working closely with UNICEF UK, you will be responding to Government consultations, learning about new issues and technologies, taking part in debates, going on ministerial visits and more. In the past year the current Panel have helped to advise the Government on issues from Bioenergy to the Green Deal.

To apply, just complete the application form and email it to Elizabeth@think2050.org by 2 February 2012. You must be between the ages of 15-25, and will visit London once a month (travel from outside London will be paid for).
