UNICEF UK/Jamaica2007/Anna France-Williams
UNICEF UK is looking for fresh talent to represent the voices of young people to decision makers on child rights.
Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child says that children and young people have the right to say what they think about decisions that affect them, and to have their opinions taken into account.
We are looking for young people from across the UK who want to speak out on behalf of other young people. You will have a chance to make a real difference for young people, get training and support, meet new people and get great experience for your CV!
In this voluntary role, you will influence and negotiate with many different people, from the top of organisations to young people on the streets. We are looking to sign up four Article 12 Advisors, supporting UNICEF with an exciting new programme pushing child rights across the UK.
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to child rights and have the ability to speak to adults and other young people.
