Handprints for UNICEF's Born Free Helping Hands campaign.
UNICEF UK/2007
Rome wasn't built by a clever general and Columbus certainly didn't sail solo! Likewise, no campaign is going to work if it is only run by one person. You need to get a group of like-minded people together to campaign on this issue.
The best way to do this is to try and find groups that already exist. If there is no group in your area then set one up! Round up all your mates and inspire them to help you. Maybe you can go one step further and organise an assembly to let your whole school know what's going on.
Decide to meet at a certain time and place every week - ask your school or college if you can use one of their rooms. See who else is interested by contacting your local library or supermarket and pin up details of your group to the noticeboards. To recruit even more fellow campaigners, think about placing an advert in your local newspaper.
