What You Can Do

Every day more and more people are learning about climate change and doing what they can to help tackle this problem. This is a huge responsibility but with everyone's involvement, we have the chance to greatly reduce our carbon emissions.

Spread the word about climate change

  1. Download our climate change resource pack for loads of ideas on how you can spread the word about climate change.
  2. Get inspired by the Copenhagen 4 by reading their blog on what they've been doing to get young people to act out on climate change.
  3. Download the Climate Centre's Climate Kit to take action.
Reduce your own carbon footprint
  1. Calculate your carbon footprint
  2. Turn your central heating down by a few degrees and put a jumper on instead
  3. Switch off electronic appliances if they’re not in use
  4. Only boil a kettle with as much water as you need
  5. Use energy efficient light bulbs
  6. Try cycling or walking instead of driving
  7. Avoid travelling by aeroplane where you can take a train
  8. Recycle as much as you can

  • I watched Age of Stupid (FANTASTIC film) I turn off electricity I tell off people who leave the keyboards on in the music room. I hope to do a protest in town soon. I'm worried this isn't enough. :s
